Christian Education
Cradle roll - children are enrolled at birth to enable natural
progress into Sunday School and worship.
The Sunday School is the primary form of Christian education conducted by the congregation. It meets every Sunday, September through May, from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Children beginning at age 3 through the 4th grade attend. Sunday School begins with an opening at 8:30 a.m. in the church.
Adult and Youth Bible Classes are held Sunday mornings at 8:45 a.m.
Catechism classes for the purpose of joining the congregation (or a refresher course!) are conducted as follows: For the youth, grades 5-8 meet in the education building from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings during the school year. The 7-8 grade study the Crossways Divine Drama on Sunday mornings and Wednesday afternoons. Mid-week classes for grades 7-8 are for discussion and to study Luther's Small Catechism and Divine Drama. Classes for adults are offered in a time frame that accommodates candidates. Please contact the church office to find the available times.
Vacation Bible School is held evenings during June with classes
for children in Nursery through 6th grade and adults.
A Christian Day School is available as Grace Lutheran is affiliated with Christ Lutheran Parochial School. This is sponsored and subsidized by parents interested in having their Preschool - 8th grade children attend Christ Lutheran School.
Lutheran High Northeast. Grace Lutheran students attending Lutheran
High Northeast receive 25% of the tuition cost paid through the congregation.
Additional scholarships are available. The school serving grades
9-12 is located at 2010 North 37th Street in Norfolk, Nebraska. For

Scholarships available to Grace Congregation. There is a long-standing scholarship program for students planning to enter the Christian ministry.
